As we all now know the whole world is currently in a crisis.  This is one thing you can be sure will stay with us for the coming months.  With 2011 upon us we have very little signs of recovery but we all must hope for improvement, since all measures, the various governments have now launched need time to be effective. At least I hope. But should we really depend on the government for our future. Absolutely NOT!

What are the advantages and disadvantages are at this time? What can I do, and what should  I do now?  I can’t accurately predict the future therefore, these proposals are based on my own experiences and you should do your own diligence. But my gut feeling or educated guess is MLM will continue to grow.

Products that are necessities and save consumers money are always profitable but during these are even more so. This is true of all areas.  The whole MLM market will certainly not break together, but the times are tougher.  How easy will it be to get new customers or retain existing customers.  Perhaps not quite as bleak as one might imagine, but when people with less money are being bombarded with opportunity after opportunity all of which are asking for money how can you expect to find prospects. The consumer is buying fewer products and paying less.

Do not let any of distributor convince that more people are buying. It’s just not true.  Less people are buying and more people are trying to sell to them.  Sales declines of up to 20% (unfortunately, understating the fact) are a reality.   It’s shark infested waters you enter. But still there are those who prosper some and others who prosper even more.  But for those who succeed, growth is not just a matter of hard work ethic.  You have to work smarter than the crowd.

Some will tell you now is not the right time to advertise and recruit.  But now is the only time. You just have to market more wisely. Be frugal but be persistent. Look for more inexpensive and free marketing. Take action with whatever you can afford. Do it yourself when possible and money is more precious then time.  Only a fraction of the released workers at all the stuff has worked successfully to be with MLM.  Should they perhaps share to 5%, since its still good.

All in all MLM is sure to run even during the crisis.  Perhaps there will be fewer sales, but who is to say they can’t be  your sales. They can and you can have more than a fair share of the market if you let them know you are available.
